Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Aurovia website and the car hire services we provide. By requesting a quote, making a booking or using our site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version in effect at the time of your booking will apply.

Bookings and Payment

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation from Aurovia. A valid credit or debit card and a full Australian driver licence are required. Payment terms are set out in your quote. The full rental fee is due before or at pick-up unless otherwise agreed.

Eligibility and Driver Requirements

The primary driver and any additional drivers must hold a valid, current Australian driver licence or an acceptable international licence. The minimum age is 21 for economy and SUV categories, and 25 for premium and luxury vehicles. We reserve the right to refuse a hire if we are not satisfied with a driver’s credentials or history.

Use of the Vehicle

Our vehicles may only be driven by named, authorised drivers and must not be used for racing, off-road competitions, towing beyond specified limits, illegal activity or any form of paid transport. Pets may only be transported in approved carriers. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

Fuel, Damage and Returns

Vehicles are supplied with a full or agreed fuel level and must be returned at the same level. Additional refuelling or cleaning charges will apply where necessary. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused through negligence, breach of these terms or failure to secure the vehicle. A security deposit may be held and released in accordance with the category terms.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. No-shows are charged the full booking value. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within five to ten business days.

Liability and Insurance

Basic insurance cover is included in every rental. Optional excess reduction products are available. The hirer remains liable for damage, loss or theft up to the applicable excess amount unless they have purchased excess reduction and the event is covered. Personal property left in the vehicle is not covered.

Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, images and design, is owned by Aurovia and may not be copied without permission. You may not misuse the site, attempt to access restricted systems or use the site for unlawful purposes.
